2020 is nearly over, so we wanted to review the year we’ve had at Peach and Tailor Made. While we have faced difficulties, like most other businesses, we have plenty to celebrate. We cannot wait to see what 2021 brings for us!

March:

Kevin James was appointed as our Chief Operations Officer. Kevin started before COVID-19 began and was able to implement fantastic guidelines for our company, and for the companies we work alongside. Kevin has helped our business thrive by introducing new systems within the company, switching our teams to improve effectiveness, and recruiting some brilliant new members of staff.

Our wonderful team did their part as we took part in Sports Relief 2020. Our team, alongside other local businesses, gave up their evenings to take over our service desk to raise money for those in need. The outcome of the evening was fantastic, with our team raising nearly £60,000!

The impact of COVID-19 was massive for everyone, including our business. Fortunately, we were well prepared and having undertaken home working trials, our business smoothly transitioned to remote working. For our business, like many others, remote working was fairly new to us, but our amazing employees took it on the chin and have exceeded themselves through a very difficult year.

August:

We began launching webinars in August, with our first webinar focusing on considerations of returning to the office. With the initial challenges businesses faced while transitioning to remote working, we wanted to ensure we were on hand to support enterprises returning to the office. The webinar was great fun and we have continued running sessions with specialists from across the business and even external companies.

September:

We began to grow our cyber security team by recruiting Christian Cartwright as our cyber security manager. With security being such a prominent concern across all sectors, especially this year, Christian has been a great success with our internal teams and supporting our on-going customer projects and security solutions.

We were thrilled to be announced as a Channel Futures MSP 501 winner! This is a great achievement for us and being certified as a winner for another year is a great reflection of the hard work our fantastic staff do.

Our second webinar was launched, this time working in collaboration with SurveyMonkey to discuss Digital Transformation.

October:

Richard Hotchkin joined the business as our Chief Technology Officer. With over 20 years of global IT leadership experience, he has already become a vital member of our board of directors, and overall team.

December:

To end our year on a high, we were shortlisted for the CommsBusiness Award – MSP of the year! As the winner of the award in 2019, we can’t wait for the awards ceremony in January to (virtually) catch up with our fellow MSPs.
